nice to meet you:) yes, i am an addict. a collecting addict that is. my last addiction was little apple dolls and they stopped production on them. (i had them all and was waiting on the new ones.) now i'm back to collecting something i've always had a special place for. and thank you for the welcome. it's nice to be here.
i have a mathmos astro baby ( violet orange ) since just a few weeks, always loved lavalamps finally got me one!
also have a vintage glitterlamp, maybe someone here recognizes it, i got it from my grandfather over 8 years ago, it looks like it's straight from the 70s :D
Hi,
Thanks so much for saying high. The pic is of our chich. She also loves many things-- You have no idea how happy i am to find this site. I am hoping you or someone can help me. I have a Johnson Industries Oil Rain Lamp. I will send photos if interested in seeing, I have cleaned her as best as i can except the internal parts. The light works and the motor hums when on. I do not have oil in her as i plan to (hopefully) ship her soon. Do you know any resources for any Johnson Inc instructions. This is marked with a serial # by Johnson industries. Can i use a diff manufacturer info?--
Thanks so much.
Great site, and i'm sure i'll be on here quite alot as I think I am going to get into repairing lava lamps to make a tidy profit lol.
Nice to see a fellow Brit on here also!
