Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I just got my new lamp. This is the second go-around, as the first one was cloudy. Early in the first cycle I ran it through, all of the wax rose up and tilted to the side. Once it finally melted, the coil was stuck against the side of the bottle and won't move. I ran it for another four hours but nothing would move; it got really hot and all of the goo just sat at the bottom. I tried spinning the bottle in its base, as the lavaword FAQ recommended. I've tried letting it cool and tipping the bottle over. Nothing will move it. Any suggestions?

Warm up the lamp, unscre the top, stick a long wooden implement down the bottle and push the coil in place.

About eveyr other time I fire up my Aristocrat, the heat coil erupts with the first poof of lava and sits crooked in the lamp until all the wax gets warm. Then the coil settles back down.
I know you are not supposed to move it when it is warm but seriously, it don't hurt it unless you shake the crap out of it or jossel it around quickly. I have had this happen with a new lamp. when the wax is all melted, take it off the base and calmly move it one way and slowly back to the other and the coil will go back to where it should be.
Hey guys, this last time that I ran it, it sorted itself out. Most of the goo rose to the top, taking the coil with it. When the coil dropped, it fell into place. Honestly, it seemed that patience was the solution. Thanks to all of you for your responses.
Glad to here all is working now.
