Carol, HIGHLITERS, not Sharpies lol
Keith, that blue is pretty spot on to the original LL blue!!! I wanted to do my son's darker then the blue that it is, but he was like Nooooo...I like it light blue, so I left it alone. I used those air brush colors that they load into those cake decorating guns. I do think the McCormick food coloring fades out fast for some reason. I still cover the lamps that are in sunlight though.....again, looks wonderful!!! Glad it's not fading too....if my son's blue fades, I'm going with the Sharpies!!!
I will heed the glove advice. I drain ink lines and print heads on our in house printer and always realize I should buy/wear gloves AFTER I have made my hands look like a rainbow. I spend that following week looking like I have a Pixie Stix problem.
That looks wonderful - well done!
Pretty easy to do, I wear latex gloves cause it's a hands-on process.
That does look purdy Keith, awesome work with the highlighters! I will be going that route with the second globe I pour.
Very nice!
looks MUCH better than mccormick's blue dye. well done!
That does it, now you are officially the Jedi Master of Lava as Kirk is of Glitter. Awesome job, Keith, I'm terribly impressed!!! Love all the pics too!!!
