Yep. The motor swap was easy. I also bought a new motor from Joe Penny....though it needed to be modified to work. I figured out a way to modify a brand new motor to work in these lamps....works great. I sent the information about the modification on to Joe as I thought he would possibly be interested in modding and selling these motors to his customers. He said he was interested and would possibly so some up for others.
I just love this lamp!!!!! I remember as a youngster seeing all of these Fantasia lamps on display, running, at Spencer's. The Solar 1 was the one that really rocked my world back then.....so glad to have one around now.
