formula for lamp

Hi: Has anyone purchased the download formula for making lamps on e-bay? I think it is about $5.00. I have a bad century lamp and would like to restore it.

I never baught into that. Smelled like a scam to me. Be better off surfing the forums. What is wrong with that lamp? looks to be at the beginning stage.

Thanks for the response, well to tell the truth I think I screwed it up. Even after 8 hours it wouldn't flow like it should so I found a thread that suggested empty the fluid, clean the container, refill with water and a drop of dish soap. Then start addin g some epsom salt solution a drop at a time until you get the right comb. Real clear but no movement. This am I emptied the water salt solution and remelting the wax. May have put to much salt in. I though I read something about brakekleen on the wax.
