Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

First time here. Sorry if posting in the wrong place.

I wanted to make a unique gift for a friend from a Grey Goose (his favorite) vodka bottle. I thought of a lava lamp and found this site. If you have seen the bottles, they have a scene visible through a clear portion on the front of the bottle, so i wanted a clear solution and un-colored lava.

The problem is that the solution is cloudy and you cannot see through it. Should it settle down (its been three days) and end up clear?

Thanks

I have never seen this lamp. Can you still get one of those lamps.

Thanks for info. I used the mineral oil and the 90%/70% alcohol solution recipe. When you say Lava World lava, I assume that means the contents from a factory lava lamp?
You Sir, own the coolest lava lamp on this or any other planet. That Absolut Pear is the pooh! Good Job!
