Probably right, but this will be the first real quality lamp I buy...I think...I just bought two of what I think are wizards. I don't know how rare they are or even if they are authentic but the price was right..anyway I'm bidding under the name lavalamp540...take care, gotta go...must be ready to increase my bid at a moments notice..now if I could scrape up enough spare change for the saturna thats coming due in a few days.....

I was prepared to go up to 30 last night...I'd have to convince a very non understanding wife to go much higer than that :-(

They usually go for, what, $300 - $400? Not in my budget I'm afraid...I can dream though...

Wow some deep pockets there! I teach automotive and just found out that several of my students have a few lamps kicking around that they no longer use. One has (he said) about thrity made before the switch to "made in China" including several Grandes...I'm waiting for pics. One said his grandparents have a few they got at yard sales...vintage unknown. Will keep yall posted if I come across anything good.
