Always wanted one, I was in the right place at the right time, with buy it now. Very affordable, the shipping alone was a bargain. $33 total for shipping and lamp. Just needs a cap! Can't wait to get it, will post more pics!

yeah, I have seen that alien topper. Quite honestly I am not crazy about it, although it is "cutesy". But I am thinking of throwing on a silver cap, and taking one of my empty 32oz globes, and filling it with the green metallic, or silver metallic wax to match the base effect. Thats gonna be my project I think!

I also am considering the black lava, or like Dr. What?!'s which looks like black-green (but I am sure it's just Green). BTW, think about it, you have the artist, or several paint artists who apply paint with different techniques, intensities, or color combinations adding each one it's own touch from time to time. Thats what these examples tend to show anyway.
