Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Someone just listed a strange coach. It is silver and looks to be an older model. Whats going on here?

That's the rare model made in the US, after Lava-Simplex stopped using Crestworths but before the common simpler version came out. Crestworths were a flame-orange polished copper, the plain models were pale polished copper; in both cases, they were spun aluminum with an anodized and lacquered finish. These were brushed brass finish, with red-orange copper fill cap, rods and handle; like early-70s Centuries, they were spun steel with a brass-colored lacquer and, also like early 70s Centuries, too much heat and/or sun would fade the lacquer, turning them into brushed silver.

This is the rarest US Lantern variant, and in the rarest color (unfaded blue/green, and crystal-clear no less!). If you like it, try to grab it! I'm not bidding.
