a usa base i think

i have a lava lamp base that has little pin holes in it, an astro bottle fits on this nicely but i was wondering what this base is ,

There were only four pinhole bases made in the USA over the years: Century, Aristocrat, Carlisle and Wizard. The latter two wouldn't hold an Astro bottle; the former would.
