Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have an original Aristocrat model 1126 red lava clear liquid. It is low on liquid, what can I do do get it restored?  I can add a photo later if that helps. It is sentimental to me so I really want to save it. It has a cracked top and has been in storage for decades, so I think the loss is from evaporation.

oops just realized I put this is the wrong category.

Thanks!
