Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

hi guys, i have been trying to custom one of my baby astros by masking it up and spaying with enamal paint, the problem im having is when it comes to peeling of the masking tape, it seems to take little bits of paint of with it thus not giving me true straight lines, whats the best way to do this,
regards

peel while the paint's still wet!
Peel while wet or if you want to do it right, sand the surface with fine grit paper to give the paint something to attach too. Otherwise it will peel.
That blue telstar and your white jet are two of the best custom lamps I have seen Bohdan.
ordered my first white astrobaby yesterday with turquoise bottle.
they sent a chrome one, and the bottle is HORRIBLE!
Dunno what the wax is but there are lots of bits of blue dye running through it and after 6 hours, 1 little tiny blob!
Not very impressed so far.
I'll take one later-one thing's for certain, it ain't turquoise, more like baby blue!
