Don't know if anyone has asked this, but where I live I cannot find any "Perc" the autoparts stores like autozone all sell non-chlorinated brake parts cleaner that is flammable and many of the dry cleaners in my area are non-toxic i.e. they don't perc. Does anyone know of an alternative to perc that I can use to make the retro-basic formula?
Sorry I cant narrow it down a bit, but I purchased CRC Brakleen (non flammable perc kind)at either Pep Boys, Murrys or AutoZone. I also have a can of Penray brand that is flammable and perc free, it says cfc free on the front, so look for the ozone killing one...LOL. I cant narrow down where I purchased the CRC but I only shop those 3 stores for auto stuff. Hope this helps.
If you're looking for the quick solution the goo kit is probably great. If you're like me you want to try and make your own and celebrate like Dr. Frankenstein on a stormy evening when it works. Bwaaaa Haaaaa Haaaaaa Haaaaa!!!!
