Best UK courier company to use

Hi people,

Having sent umpteen lava lamps around Britain and Europe, I've usually used Royal Mail, MyHermes or Parcel2go in the past.

However, having had a two year break, I now find that all of the above have extensive lists of prohibited items, which include liquids.  That seems to mean that lava lamps must be banned too and yet they're still delivered everywhere..

So who has despatched lava lamps from Britain - and through which couriers?  Who accepts them without quibbling? 

And if anyone's had problems, please let us all know too.
