I have a 52 ounce lava lamp (china) that I have had for 4 years and the wax has always been stuck to the bottom. Completely. It works ok, but since so much of the wax is stuck at the bottom, the blobs are kind of little and the lamp does not do as much as it should. Does anyone know of a good way to get the wax unstuck without removing the lid and emptying it? This lamp works surprisingly well for a china lamp, the wax does everything that a US made one does, everything is perfect so I really do not want to ruin this lamp.

The wax is stuck to the bottom literally all over it, and I am completely surprised that the wax doesnt all just sit at the bottom and do nothing. It is hard to tell that the wax is stuck when its sitting in the base, but if its taken out of the base you can see it all stuck to the bottom. Any help is really appreciated! :) Or any suggestions to empty the contents out, clean the bottle, and put the contents back in are helpful too! Methods that work and do not require filling the globe full of gasoline :p
If it is sticking like that there is something wrong with the formula. There is nothing you can do. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news.
Oh ok. Thanks anyways. I think I will try to experiment with it to see if I can find a way to fix it. If not, oh well.
