I drool over my FA collection, too.  I'm praising Weebotech who, bless his heart, is trading me so that I can finish my collection of them (I will have all known examples)!

I'm not sure. Three of them are pictured here:

 

The other one is just like the blue one, but clear. Do you know anything about having the brass re-plated on them?

VERY pretty.  I have no idea about getting the brass re-plated.  Personally, I'm fine with it.  It gives them character and let's them show their age.

The one I want redone is in horrible shape. Won't shine up like these will.

So sand it smooth and give it a semi-matte black - but take it all apart and take the switch out first, so none of the pieces get 'painted together'. A few Florence Arts came in either back or brass and, though the plain cylinder didn't come in black that I know of, the scroll-legged one did, so it sort of fits. Or just keep it as-is - I have the tiny plain model like yours, and it's heavily rusted, and I love it. That's one of the only USA-made glitters I'm still after in a big way - another mini single Florence.

 

Bryin, the white squiggle with starlight holes is now the third I've ever seen. The BLACK squiggle with starlight holes is the FIRST I've ever seen!

I didn't know that I had the only known black squiggle with starlight holes.  Cool.

Well, they didn't choose me.  I don't know if they chose another lava person or just skipped us entirely, but you won't be seeing me and my collection on their show!

I may still try to tune in, but I am preparing to be disappointed.  They screwed the pooch by not selecting you Bryin.

WOW that's a disappointment. Especially when you've been such an influence in this area of collecting for all these years. 

You're still always a lava collecting idol in my book!
