I dont know people.... I watched a few clips they had available.  seems to me they kind of make a person look freakish and pretty much ridiculous    now unless the amount of money they are offering to pretty much humiliate you is worth it.

It does seem like the show is geared towards the eccentric and freakish.

I would not mind being in the show but I am not sure im the type of person they might be looking for. I do have a large collection but its not my whole life, I have many other interests and lava in no way "takes up my life" LOL

 

  Of course as collectors we do not look at ourselves as "unusual or odd" but others might :)

Hey Tim - That's only a few shelves.  In that one room I have approximately 150 lava lamps displayed.  As I clean and re-wire, I will post more.  I have a real obsession over vintage French lava and glitters.  I also have an almost complete (as far as anybody knows) collection of Florence glitter lamps.  My friend Weebotech is trading me for the only one I know that I'm missing.  I think I have been collecting lavas and glitters longer than anybody on here and have mainly focused on vintage.  Although I do bow my hat to Jonas.  He is much more knowledgeable on the subject than I am.

There is nothing these days it seems compares to our vintage lamps..Your collection deserves an award...as do you..
