Hi all,
I am new to the forums but, I have my original Century lamp from the early '70s that was working fine until I decided to try to add some color back in it two weeks ago. The two drops of blue I used messed up the mix and I have been trying to get it working again now for two weeks with the original wax. I have almost had it working several times. Last weekend I had it flowing nicely then I moved it to a new location and all it did was sit and go into a tall dome for hours. So I am still playing with it and have a separated wax from the coil to deal with tonight. I am thinking I may need a dimmer to cool the lamp down a bit but I am not sure.
My real question is this, I have a cracked and split cap and I am wondering if anybody has tried a 3D printer to scan and print caps yet with any success?
Thanks in advance.
