Ok, so I love the color of my 20 oz red goo kit lamp as you know. I started with 5ml of surf. Was getting really boring flow. Before I found out that increasing the wattage of the bulb could help make it more active, I added a bit more surf. That really didn't do much of anything to effect the flow, but the 40 watt bulb with a dimmer did. So now, I kind of want to experiment and go back to using less surf. I want to see if using less then the recommended 5 ml in the 20 oz lamp will improve the stretchy flow or is it just the 20 oz globe preventing this. I know goo kits were originally made for larger globes. If I let the lamp cool completely and change the water, and start with say 2 ml of surf, do you think I will screw it up and it will stick? I really do not want to mess this lamp up. Besides wanting the flow to be more snakey, I like it and will be disappointed if I end up with sticking goo and a lamp that is not useable. What do you recommend?

Changed it. Less surf. Did 2 ml's instead of 5 ml's. Not that much difference except larger balls instead of more little ones, but when the larger balls get to the top, they do kind of ooze down (you know what I mean) so I think it might be a bit more interesting to watch then a bunch of hyperactive little balls!!! Oh my me and my balls........lololol!!!!
