2 hours on, 4 hours off 4x a day worked for me in the worst of conditions.
I did a transfusion from one globe to another.
The wax rubbed on the glass. Once it melted, it was so cloudy that you could barely see through the globe.
After about a month it was crystal clear.
The point is, it has to flow, then be cool. My home is always a cool 60-65 degrees, So I think that worked to my advantage.
At times running them for a long time without overheating and letting them sit for a few days then running again will get a faster cure. I have used a dimmer on the globe and let it run for 8 hours then lower the dimmer down somewhat and let it run all night. Then the next day turn it off and have it sit for about a week. Most of the time the cloudyness is the lava inside the liquid and having it run very hot then letting it sit for a week will have the lava fall down into the bottom. This will work for a cloudy lamp that is cloudy from the lava NOT from the cloudyness of the dye leak .
Your cloudiness is not that bad.
As for dye leakage, the water will be colored, not hazy clear/whitish.
Think fog vs tint.
Here are the pictures of my before clearing (After the transfusion to try and get a clear white lamp).

Go with Bodhan's procedure, if that works great! If not you try another.
I would say give it 2-3 weeks, maybe a month and a half.
I know my procedure took about 6 weeks, but it eventually worked.

Another factor is how warm you keep your home compaired to how warm others keep there home at when running a procedure for clearing lamps.
To clear my lamps I run mine in the winter for 3 hours a day then 24 off, they cleared in a week, my house is at 64 degrees. In the summer it's a whole different story.
Very hard to clear Mathmos lamps once cloudy. Over the years I have had to use the filter pump to make them clear. However what I have found is that you can only filter them once after that they seem to stick to the globe and at times the wax will ride up the globe.
That may work for the 53oz globes, but what about the 250oz Grande's?
It takes 2 hours just to melt the lava!?
