Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Coil Issues

I've always had coil issues with certain globes. Does anyone know how to fix this. Using a dimmer does not help or cleaning the coil. The lava just separates from it after a few hours or during startup???

Thought about that before too, I hate recapping globes as I could never properly do it. Also where could I find a Lava coil that would make the lamp flow well?
