Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi,

i want to sell my crestworth model rocket from 1993.

i got it as a present in those days and it never left my hands. I also held it in honor so it is in good condition.

Just want to test the waters..

I will add photos when I manage to take some.

btw, me and the lamp are in germany right now.

Hi Marcel,

i tried to look around a little to get a feeling for the pricing.

According to this thread they sell around $300.

Have a look at the pictures, and if you have questions feel free to ask.

Hi,

Im searching a Rocket and I am from Germany ;-)

So would like to buy it.

That is a beautiful lamp!

I own 5 Crestworth Rockets, including the Rocket in the thread that you referenced, and I paid between $300 - $450 USD for each of them.

They cost me a little more since I am located in the USA and I purchased them on Ebay years ago when the exchange rate was higher.

Their very high quality lava lamps that you do not see very often.

I think they display particularly well next to Lunars ;)

Mile,

Is the bottle on those Jet sized?  Or is it completely different?

crit

Uses the same bottle as the Jet/Nordic/Living Jewel. That is where the similarity ends.

Bottle is the same size as a Mathmos Jet.

Contains a little less lava/fluid than a 32 oz USA LL bottle.

Ok, I put it on ebay now.

Item 352462346186

If there are any questions you can ask either there or here.

5 Rockets and 6 Lunars??! Wow!

And what is that metallic lava?

BTW i can't avoid to notice the inbalance in the counts.. Time to equalize that!

How much is that large looking price on ebay in American dollars?

200 EUROS  = approximately 233 USD

Figure about 75 USD for International shipping.

$300 is not a bad deal for a Crestworth Rocket in good condition!

I would purchase it however I changed my display a while ago and I now have three Crestworth Rockets stored in my closet that I am considering selling later this year.
