"Custom" Grande from Lava Lite - Full Review (in progress)

First run: September 20 @ 6pm. 

Color choice: yellow/red globe with gold base and cap

NO dimmer on base

Initial impressions: globe is clear, wax looks good. Warming up now. NO dents or dings on base/cap. Glass seems good. Box arrived with the correct side up in 90 degree weather, so I'm happy it wasn't cloudy or anything.

I am running mine for the 6th time today. So far so good, though I took a look at the bottom today and there are some air bubbles and the wax looks like it has some white powder in it. It's very slight. Will update after more runs.

So how are you liking it so far? How's the flow looking? I would really like to get one of these if it flows good enough.

I love it so far, but I historically have very bad luck and very high standards with Lava Lite lamps from the last decade. I have had about 7-8 successful runs with it so far, but problems don't usually show up that soon (for me).
