Hi, I'm new here, and I wanna make a custom lava lamp, I need advices for the "water" mainly. I'd be really glad if someone helped me ;)

I'd say buy a GooKit and start making some lamps.

Hi Saturn, ya know playing with the liquid CAN be rewarding until you louse it up!!!  lol!!!  I think it's much better to go with the goo kits as Todd said.  Messing with the fluid is ok if you're just dealing with a clouded up newer china lamp, but they usually just end up hazing up again in time.  I'm ordering my goo kit tomorrow and i'm redoing 3 of my lamps.  At least you have the receipe and you don't have to "wing" it with the fluid.  They really do turn out nice....type in goo kit and pics of some of the member's lamps will come up.  Erin has redone a lot of hers I believe.

Gookits.com will put yyou on magma towers site (aka MT Goo). If you hear people referring to MT Goo that's what they are referring to.
