I've been watching the Lava Lamp facebook page for a bit, and yesterday someone had posted about his lamp, and they responded that he should send email to [e-mail] and they would help him. It was like 10:30 pm and I was bored, so I figured why not try that about my tricolor with the bad paint job, but was expecting the no response that anyone who reads these forums would expect. This morning at 8:30 I got a response saying that line is discontinued, pick any other lamp in the same size from their website and they will send it to me.

 

So, while I don't have the replacement in my hands yet, it is at least encouraging that I got the initial response so quickly.
