Dimmer Question

I run 10 Lava lamps on a Heavy Duty electrical power strip.

I want to add a Dimmer to my lamps,because after they warm up,they get too hot.

Can I buy 1 dimmer cord to plug into the wall outlet,then into the power strip plug to feed all 10 lamps,or should I buy 10 separate dimmer cords?

And which dimmer cord do you guys recommend?

While I have not attempted what you are planning I believe you should be able to pull that off safely. I would suggest a beefy dimmer over the typical selection that tends to be suggested here. I would look at something like this, handles 1,000w out, made for higher powered photo light rigs

Edit: May also want to look at a fused powestrip as well, juuuust in case.
