Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

So ive mixed up a drop of wax , wich i made out of paraffin wax and brakeleen, with pure VG and water, when i added more vg to the water it clouded up after i shook it, is this the wax floating in the liquid? It has to be that its to dense or could there be salt left in the wax from the last liquid mixture i used. I used a hydrometer and the solutions around 1.075. Its very hard to get the wax out of my vase so if i could drop a chunk of clean wax in and heat it with no water would that lighten up the wax? Or should i see if the particles sink in a lighter liquid. Thanks for help.

Pure water with shaken up wax, crystal clear
And pure glycerin with the wax shaken up, cloudy
This has to be the wax going into suspension with the glycerin? Any solutions?

I might justs make new wax and start clean. Tips on getting wax out of a 40" tall vase would be helpful.

put it in a pot of water, bring to boil, reduce flame

when melted, wash out with the boiled water and touch of dishsoap

DO not shake anything next time

let the wax solidify before adding any fluid

Fill @ 70% with distilled water when wax is solid ,

heat up for flow

add glyceryn/PG a little at a time until proper SG is achieved

Maybe the most important??

This can happen if you mix your water, surfactant, PG together first.  It did to me.

"cold, floating wax"
