Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I found this on the internet. Looks like it was popular for a little bit, but is now discontinued. Anybody know what happened? I think it's pretty cool.

I have a couple of these. The "action" (if you want to call it that) is pretty underwhelming. Pretty much one, small, round blob at a time & fairly slow. Still, at least they are actual, flowing night lights, as opposed to the ones I've seen from LL, which are just illuminated, molded plastic in the shape of lava.

Depending on how this thing was marketed, Lava Lite may have hit them with a cease and desist order.

Is it made out of glass? What watt bulb does it use?

OMG, the newer LL one's are a joke.  I'm glad I read the reviews on them.  They make you think at Spencer's Online that you are getting a real flowing nite light when it's a plastic simulated lava blob........what a rip-off!!!
