Dyeing Wax

I have a lamp with white wax, it's turning yellow in some areas. Is it possible to dye the wax a different color with candle wax dye from Walmart?

Don't try candle wax or dye - it may dye the wax but I very much doubt that the lamp will flow.

You can colour the water colour with food dye as for the wax you could try crayons but the best option would be to get a gookit dye and just a a bit of that to it.
