I placed my first order on mathmos.us February 24th for two Fireflows - one O1 and one R1. According to their shipping chart, I should have had them in about three days.
I have written customer support. No answer. I have written on their Facebook page. No answer.
Anyone ordered from them yet?
Not a good first impression!

I think I'm just going to order from UK and re-wire when I get them. The Fireflows will be especially hard to re-wire ;>)

Still no lamps. Going on two weeks. UPS tells me the "label was created" but there's no tracking information. At this point, I'm pretty pissed at both Mathmos and Lamp Lust.
If I don't get an answer today from Lamp Lust/Mathmos, I am cancelling my order and asking for a refund. This is ridiculous.
Got a hold of an actual person today (212-863-9736, option 2 is the only way to get a live person). He said the tracking email they sent out last week was... false? It shouldn't have been sent out. They just got the Fireflows in Friday (says him). My order will be shipping out today or tomorrow morning. What a load of crap. Charge my card and don't send out anything for over two weeks!
Proceed with caution anyone who is going to order from Lamp Lust or Mathmos.us!
Uhhh...I dont suppose the topic of fluidiums came up during your brief conversation. Did they "come in on Friday" too?

No talk of other lamps. At this point, I have no idea when the lava lamps will be in. I very much get the feeling that they are still working this whole gig out. Obviously, whether or not a lamp is in stock or not will not be accurately represented on the Mathmos.us website. What's funny is that they said US Mathmos would be up and running LAST year (2011), but that never panned out. I think it will be this time, but I have a feeling it's going to be a mess. They should not have released the website until they were 100% ready to ship and handle all orders and issues.
I'd say you should ask on their Facebook page, but I don't think you'll get an answer there.
I feel your pain Erin have they been blaming this garbage on U.S. Customs? And I'm still getting the run around with my broken O1 glass. I contacted Mathmos directly, again.... and here is what they said. This was almost a week ago and I still haven't heard from this Ben.

That sucks Shawn. If I were you, I'd be calling or writing EVERY day until you got an answer.
After this order (if it happens), I'm waiting until others have ordered and are happy before I ever place another order again. Mathmos has not responded to most of my inquiries. I just do not understand how you can FLAT OUT IGNORE emails and inquiries.
lol well if I had time I would but I'm just too busy to even think about it, I just hope they come thru eventually.... I want a smart bad. I would just continue to order thru EP.
