Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

So I made my own wax from 2 parts white candle wax and one part perc. It took a good amount of epsom salt water to get some globs ‘a floating. But just look at all of those flakes! I’ve strained the water a few times through coffee filters… Where did I go wrong? (Sorry the pic is sideways but you get the point)

using Epson salt created your problem,
Its corrosive, its effects on the fluid do not last, it clouds the fluid, etc..
The list goes on...
Its for high school projects only

Use propylene glycol to adjust the specific gravity
