Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I've recently had a used Wizard glitter lamp shipped to me and inside the packaging a bit of the liquid managed to leak out. Upon removing it from all of the bubble wrap and what not I cleaned it off.

When I leave it running for about 20-30 minutes I can start to smell the liquid and a small leak seems to form near the cap area but I've turned it upside down, sideways, you name it but I can't actually see any sort of leak. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Does the bottle cap have a red stopper underneath it? If not, I assume you may have to remove the cap and place a new stopper in place or you could lose liquid from evaporation. It should look like this under the cap.

Mr. Raisin - you need to replug and cap it.  I'd be happy to send you a fresh plug and cap, but the capping part is up to you.

Yep there is a red plug underneath the cap.

I guess you should talk with Kirk about the new plug. He's the glitter expert on this site. I'm just using the only glitter lamp I have as reference anyway. Lol!

its going to need to be topped off and recapped
