Hi,
I picked up a couple of these glitter lamps a few years ago and one of them needs a top up of whatever the orange gunk is inside. Does anyone know what I can use to do this? Also where can I buy a new cap for the bottle as this is cracked.
Cheers
James

Put some propylene glycol in it to top it up.
For the cap, it will be difficult to find one, but not impossible.
By the way, your lamp looks very rare!
It looks like a Crestworth table lamp.
(same base as my Crestworth Telstar export base: check my pics)
Hi Astralav,
Thanks for the reply, I'll get the chemical you mentioned and glue the bottle cap back together.
When you say 'very rare' how much is this? Instant retirement or not worth the postage from South Africa? I've added some more photos of the lamp and box, which is for a Crestworth Glitterlite/Astro Table lamp.
The base is very similar to the one in your album, and is roughly 13.5 and 7cm diameter and 17cm high.
Cheers
James
Hi James,
How rare?
Well... you won't see many of them, even here (search "table lamp" )
So I would say pretty rare.
And you've also got the original box?!!
THAT'S VERY RARE :-)
Jackpot for you the day you will want to sell it!
PS: by the way, you said you've got 2 of them?
