Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Ok so I know nothing about glitter lamps. And I just got a few, is there a limit on amout of time they can be run? I know it's best not to run lava for very long periods of time.

I don't think there is a limet as such but with my Mathmos glitters when run for a long time they dont seam to flow as well - the glitter seams to sink a bit.

No limit, but don't leave solvent/fast glitters on for hours with bulbs over 15 watts. Some lamps (especially slow glitters) will start to settle after a while, but that's just glitter that ends up outside the convection currents. A quick shake or twist should send everything back into the flow for another while.
