Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Well yesterday i ordered a goo kit. I am going to refill my silver century and probably another 52 oz. In the silver century I tried the retro basic and had sticky wax. How can i clean the globe to insure that there wont be any stick wax in the goo kit. All help is appreciated.

ok I will do that exactly and if the wax still looks like there is somthing there, its picture time!
If you want to make sure its clean fill it with gasoline and let it sit for 24 hours. Then rinse the globe with dish soap to remove any residue left from the gasoline.
um gas semms a little far, but if it isnt clean i might have to do that.
I always love tips like this. Especially since I'll be doing 3 customs soon. I live for the Goo Kit Conversion group, as well. http://oozinggoo.ning.com/group/gookitconversions it is chock full of gooey goodness!
Well i used Bohdan's methods and success. The globe is clean like it never had anything ever in it.At first the wax at the top didn't want to budge, it was a thin layer of wax. I got the bottle brush and that didn't even help, so i had to go in. I got a paper tower and pressed against the side of the globe and slowly started spinning it. The wax came off, slowly, but surely. Now it is brand empty?
Brakleen is highly effective as well for those who stumble across this thread with a similar need to Kempton.  Helluva buzz too.
