For a while now, I've have been creating custom color lava lamps for clients and have acquired quite in the inventory of new, odd color, and slightly used goo.
I was also indecisive on what color to use and changed my colossus 2X in 3 months. (5 quarts of MT goo each time)
I finally settled on clear with rainbow glitter. :)
As a result of all this, I thought I'd offer some Goo at a discount to those looking to rehab their lamps.
All prices do not include shipping.
I accept Paypal, Google Pay, and Cash App.
Internation/Canadian orders require a min $50 order
*Please note, those that are LL brand will require PG/Epson for modification of the specific gravity (flotation)

Thanks, will be trying to make a red/purple grande this summer. Any advice on how much MT surf I should add to the fluid?
BTY, You use a whole quart of goo for a grande
I do no use a set amount as each goo is different.
I fine tune and add Surf until I get the flow I want
The amount SURF All depends on the purity of the surf as well as the nature of the goo
28%? 50%? 75%?
Best to start out with a healthy coating on the globe, Add the goo, let it cool, then add distilled water, heat to 108F-110F and watch the flow.
Adjust as needed
FOR MT GOO
If it reaches a temperature of 108F/110F, domes and does not break, add SURF mixture of 50% SURF and 50% Distilled water until it does.
Too stringy and not flowing??, add more surf
Too many balls, you added too much
If that happens, remove 1/3 of the master fluid you created (save for another lamp) and start over.
Chart is attached.
This process changes for Regular goo or Old school goo that requires PG to float.
Add PG when it reaches operating temp 108F-125F until it starts to float, (wait for 20Min for temp recovery each time you add fluid) then adjust with SURF until you get the stringy flow you want

I have been using this for SURF without issue
costs $1.00 a bottle at DG stores
Its a clone of a Palmolive product
I FIND THAT THE SMALL AMOUNT OF GLYCERINE IN THIS SOAP ACTUALLY HELPS ACHIEVE THE OLD SCHOOL FLOW WE ALL LOVE
Cocamidopropyl betaine is an organic compound derived from coconut oil and dimethylaminopropylamine. CAPB is available as a viscous pale yellow solution and it is used as a surfactant in personal care products. The name reflects that the major part of the molecule, the lauric acid group, is derived from coconut oil.
Tetrasodium ETDA (which stands for ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a water-soluble ingredient used as a “chelator,” which means it binds to certain mineral ions to inactivate them. Through this action, it can prevent the deterioration of cosmetic and personal care products, as it stops the growth of mold and other microorganisms. Tetrasodium EDTA also helps maintain clarity, protect fragrance compounds, and prevent rancidity. One of its main uses it to help personal care products work better in hard water.
