Has anyone seen anything like this?

I found this on Craigslist I have not been around that lone, Lava Lamps thit is, so if anyone can tell me something about it, Please respong. Thanks everyone.

I just scored the same lamp for 26 dollars shipped several weeks ago and I'am wanting to buy another one i just found for 50 they are a really nice lamp.

It may be real but i would only go for it if you can pick it up in person. After all the back and forth email i've had with them the seem crazy lol "cash only " is all they would tell me i told em name the price and if they would take paypal i would pay it, nope cash in mail only ????

Before we condemn this seller anymore lets please remember that CL is basically for local buying. Shipping and Paypal were not figured into the CL plan. Its for picking up things locally and paying cash, most people selling on there are not equipped to make Ebay like transactions ( bank account required for Paypal ). I feel this seller would rather get rid of these face to face cash in hand, I do not believe they are trying to scam anyone.

ok i don't want to condemn them with out any dobt that it may not be a scam, thats y i ask if anyone lived around them and could get the lamp in person. And i deal with craigslist alot to sell and to buy but i have never had a potensial transaction / full transaction ever go like this. It's just strange the way they acted in their emails. If you had read through the 20 or so emails we exchanged you might think the same ( this seller is just a little out there lol.) I labeled the original post as scam in hope that someone else may have spoke to them and came to the same OR a different conclusion about their post on C.L.
