My First Lava Lamp was:: 1st in 1973, a gift from my wife. I had seen them for years and always wanted on but never made that BIG step. Lava lamps are something you really need to own to appreciate. My daughter-in-law thought they were somewhat whacky until I gave her one I bought from the Goodwill. It has now become a very important part of their house.
