Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have changed out liquid in most of my lavas in order to achieve clearness, but the problem is I usually can only get the lamp to have a slow flow with large bubbles. I love lots of small bubbles and a faster flow. Does anyone know how to achieve this? I use epson salt, and a drop or no dishwashing liquid. I have often added too much soap trying to achieve this. Not only do I not achieve what I want with soap but I end of clouding the lamp and making the wax runny!

Don't use soap. Use the salt to get smaller, faster bubbles. Soap just keeps the wax from getting too much friction and sticking to the bottle. The more salt you add, the quicker, faster the bubbles happen. This is what I have read. I have been unsuccessful in getting ANY lamp to work with distilled water, salt and soap. It never flows right. I have tried 5 times.

A good alternative to soap - is bubble soap. I have a 1 gallon container. It smells identical to what is in the old lava world lamps. It's clear, does not suds up like normal soap and is really slick. You might want to give that a try. It should not cause clouding either. I have added about a cup and a half once. Nay an issue for cloudiness.
I feel like I often get too much salt, and it ends up just one big column, no bubbles. If I add more at that point do you think it might start to break up in bubbles again? Whee do you find bubble soap? I've never heard of it.
Well, I was reading the thread here where (I can't remember his name) was redoing a grande clear/black. He cleaned it out, there is a picture of him in yellow shorts washing it out. That thread. It stated when he added too much salt, it started going crazy and too many small blobs started coming out.

The bubble soap can be found at Target - It's in a container like Anti-Freeze. Pour spout on the left, handle to the right. About 1 gallon if I am correct. If you need a pic I can take one.
