Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

When you aren't using the box it came in, how do you package your lava lamps when you're planning to move?
Do you keep each lamp together or separate them into globes and bases?
Milk crates, or Any particularly good box types or places to look out for?
And what about Dividers, Bubble wrap, or just using clothes?

I have moved my collection before using a variety of methods but figured I'd ask the community for tips and tricks I haven't thought of. Mostly referring to regular sizes.

Pictures welcome!

Thanks,
Stephanie

Easy Peezy
Same way i transported them when buying or moving inventory
Go to liquor stores and get boxes for Shirmoff, Jim Beam, Seagram, Jack, etc.. 1/2gal boxes for 16.5/XL lamps

and quart boxes for 14"/17" lamps

The dividers keep the globes separated and the bases secured from damage during transport
They can even be sealed since they high enough to contain the entire globe

Great idea! Being able to seal the boxes is extra nice

Agreed on closing the boxes.
If these did not have liquor box markings, you could ship USPS
