How long can I keep my lamp on for?

I have just been given my first Astrobaby and bought a second on Ebay. The first one is a lovely red and violet one and runs like a dream. The second is green and clear and is only slightly cloudy, but I only run it for 3 hours at a time because I don't want it to get any worse. Is it safe to run for long? I have included a photo.

Like Bohdan says, they can be run for up to six hours. One thing that makes them go cloudy very quickly is moving them when they are on or the wax is still warm and has not cooled down and set.

I have the same AstroBaby, it's lovely! it should clear up with a week of daily running, mine did, enjoy and welcome to your new obsession. :)

Thank you. I have the smart Astro on order. Can't wait for it to arrive. My family think I'm mad spending that much on a lamp!
