How long to leave on a Grande?

Just wondering if anyone could give me a idea of how long I should be leaving my Grande Lava Lamp i just got on at any given time? Whats the max time?

use an inline dimmer switch that you can get for a couple of dollars at your local hardware store. you can run it longer this way
