How to tinker with my Century

I bought Century, (purple/clear), from Ebay.. and just can't quite get the flow right. I use a 60 watt with a dimmer... and after some adjusting I either get the tornado effect..and then when I use a HAIR less wattage I get the glob at the botton and small bubbles of lava off that. I guess I need to adjust the fluid. Small amount of sea salt maybe?
