Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

OK, so I purchased a capper from eBay with 40 free caps. As some of you know I have been having fairly good success adding a little drop of pears hand soap through a pin hole on china lamps caps, giving them a better flow. Now I want to re-cap them properly.

So I am basically asking if there is anything I should know, any warnings about using a capper. I have never used one before it looks fairly simple, but I think I better be sure before I start ripping my lamps open.

This wont cap lamps properly. It requires a ring to grab onto that lava lamps do not have. When you get it use it on a beer type bottle and you will see the difference. However I have found the actual crimping part which unscrews is good at putting the cap on and then I use a hose clamp to tighten the cap for a perfect crimp.
Damn, I thought it was gonna be too easy!
