Think I might take a trip to the Royal Festival Hall next month ;)

I think I would too, if I were across ye ole pond, Pete!!!  ;-))

Liam, that was cruel to post such amazing lamps.  Just kiddin, but I was drooling!

The pond is the easy bit ! try driving into London Lib, or the cost of the railroad/tube !

Sometimes it has to be done...:)

When you say "railroad tube," is that like a subway, as in "underground?"   No thanks, Pete, I'd take my chances with the traffic.  LOL   Except I've never driven on the wrong side of the road like you all do, and would be a menace on the highway!!!

I don't fly either, so it'd be a slow boat to the UK.........much like my ancestors who left there and came here.  Hahahaha

You got it in one Lib, but it will be a nice day out , fit in a few museums and shops...Liberty's and Selfriges...nice to look at pretty things...

Sounds like a lovely day, Pete!!   Take pics of all Lava and glitter and museums.  Then I'll get to go with you "virtually."  Oh yes, and all bookstores, I LOVE bookstores!!    And lava..........and glitter......

Picture me in my 'Big Big Yank Tank 70s red Camero' cruising the M25 orbital (London's biggest  car park) then I have to park her !!!

You think a Camero (lovely car by the way) is a Lead Sled??   LOL   I could fit that in the back of my SUV...... wanna trade?  At least we both drive Chevys!!   You need to get behind the wheel of hubby's monster truck.  I can't even see over the steering wheel or reach the pedals.  Snort!!     What's a car park?   A parking lot or a highway?   LOL

Parking lot.

I'm learning, about UK lingo and lava/glitter!!!  ;-))

I jest Libby, the M25 orbital is a highway and runs around outer London, it was built to ease congestion on other busy roads and highways into and through central London, but it's so congested itself that it is also known as 'Londons biggest car park' or 'parking lot as you would say'.

btw I don't own a Red 70s Camero but it is a dream car of mine. I love big late 60s early 70s American cars or 'Yank Tanks' as we affectionately call them.

Yea....I guess looking under your bonnet is not as dirty as it sounds LOL!!!!
