Do you know a store that ships internationally brand new 52OZ glitter lamps?
Another Question - I have seen many lamps claimed to be yellow wax and blue liquid but in the picture the wax looks green... What is the correct one?

How is that? Isn't technology suppose to make things better and easier?!
What technology for lamps or for shipping?
Shipping yes it does have a lot of technology but at the end of the day its still expensive as lava lamps are heavy by nature and there is costs involved in shipping, different companies and services varies in price.
Lamps well that is another matter - there is a lot of info hear about what's going on but it has little to do with technology.
LOL you are too funny ;)
I talked about the lamps not the shipment.
There was a major progress in materials engineering over the last few decades so I assumed that lamps got better over time.
Actually, quite the opposite, every time a company has tried to "modernize" the lava lamp the quality goes down due to cloudy fluid, more boring flow, ect. The lava lamp is far more a physics experiment that it is anything else and like any physics experiment you get very different results when you try to change an ingredient.
It's chemistry not cooking :-)
There is a physical principal and the chemistry replicates the conditions to create it...
Superficially, It's not suppose to be such a big deal.
I guess most of the manufacturers tried to make it cheaper, not better.
Maybe you're right and this is a very unique combination...
honestly, if it were as easy as it sounds there would be more companies making perfect lamps
