Lava lamp fixed

Howdy! I just wanted to say thank you for this wonderful lava resource. I followed the instructions for the retro formula and remade my century lamp. It was red with yellow liquid and became fried and cloudy in less than a year. It now has transparent red wax and clear liquid. It reminds me of the lamp I fell in love with when I was a kid in the '60s. Thank you!
