Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Lava lamp is running at the proper temp, but the wax blobs still linger at the top

This is the same lamp ive been trying to figure out for a little bit, my blue/yellow psychedelic swirl. It doesnt just form into one glob at the top and stay there forever, it just makes normal sized globs that float to the top really quick and then extremely slowly start moving back down. This lamp already has water-bubbling issues, i made a discussion about it in the past, but the weird thing about it is is that the bubbles have almost completely gone away from the wax now, and it still does the same thing. It needs a coil replacement for sure, i can see it rusting a little bit, but im wondering if i should add a little more perc to the wax too? Like just a tiny tiny drop to up the density a smidge.
