I assure you that the first versions of  Heritage Grandes (V1's) DID come with two coils.   I have both Green and Pink Neons out of that first batch sold.   Both have TWO coils and both flow beautifully.  Someone at LL needs to get their ducks in a row..........

Jo, that's completely insane if Susan said that.  Good Grief, she's the customer service rep for them and has been in on this Heritage roll out from day 1.    She "has" to know.   After everyone complained about the V1's being so temp sensitive and we had to wrap the bases sometimes to get them to flow, they changed the design.   You know on your V2's that the bulb is closer to the globe, they ditched one coil and all heck broke loose.   Every single lamp they released in the "Heritage" series has some sort of issue.    They are overrun with complaints.  Susan is on this group but I have no idea if she ever reads this thread, but she should.

She promised me a new Heritage Century and a replacement for a Clearview that was a "Fogview."   I never got either one, but did get the bulb for the Century, which was completely useless and solved nothing.   I doubt very seriously she's gonna listen to me.   This entire thing is beyond belief.

she called me today pretty peeved that people were insisting that there are two different neon grande's . I had been emailing her back and forth and sent her some copy pasted pictures from here of the two coils to prove to her there was some neon grandes with 2 coils . when she got those she called me !

see my post i did earlier today . I am asking people with V1's to take a short video of the SEALED top and pan down to the bottom showing 2 coils and send it either to me or directly to Susan .

What did she say with the pictures as proof?

THat they were NOT from LL that LL had NEVER produced a neon grande with double coils and those coils were dirty , or that people opened them and dropped in another coil .I told her those photos were taken because there was debris in their lamps and they were showing it and they have been trying to get ahold of her about it .  I told her I would have people  who has the  "V1" take a video of the SEALED TOP and pan down to show the double coils because the sealed top cannot be faked.

I already read the thread, Jo.  Sorry, missed your posting above our "large" replies here.   This is nuts.  I think my old crap Grande has two coils.  Need to check though.

They don't seem to have good customer service...

I deal with many vendors on a daily basis , if I have a QC issue,

I just call them and it's rectified in just a few days.  To ignore a

"Customers" email/phone call, regarding a purchase from their

company, you would be terminated if you worked in my dept.

Customer's write your PayCheck !

BTW:

Still no response from my damaged Wizard cap...

My red wizard as yet to flow properly.  I'm a bit

bummed but for $35 it's still a nice base/cap, I've

spent more for a base on ebay.

I'll send the globe to get some fast glitter.

I hate reading horror stories with customer service like this. I have to agree with Todd Miller as I've worked retail for many years in management and I run an ebay store so I completely agree. It's crap like that, that makes me not want to buy anything from them again. It just blows my mind that CEOs stop and wonder why their sales are down but they cut corners on quality or customer service. I wish you guys/gals that are fighting with LL that you have some luck.

I just checked my Grandes...  Both V1 Heritage Grandes have 2 coils.  My yellow/blue non-heritage Grande also has 2 coils.  My red/clear non-heritage Grande is too dark to tell how many coils it has.
