Thats the sad truth that me and Rodrigo were talking about yesterday is that even if you wanted to put one of our nice flowing globes on the nice century base you cant because it doesnt get enough heat! Very annoying
I created a different discussion for my data collection.

Green Grande: Ok. Only one run, but there's still wax smears on the side.
Pink Grande. Excellent. Still one tiny wax smear on the side.
Red Wizard: No problems. Boring flow though.
Yellow/Red Century: Bad flow, wax smears, wax stuck up at top.

Can I get a report from everyone who has a heritage lamp? I want to get a ratio of good to bad lamps and I will send my findings to lava lite. Photos will help as well.
Awesome. I'll fill that out this weekend.
No response from Lava Lite about my lamp today. Anyone have an email address to use?

try sending them an e-mail through the website by clicking the envelope in the top right corner. otherwise, try calling susan.

I think I'm gonna order a green one...that looks pretty nice when lit. I'll just have to get a blue one too if they come out with one and sell the Purple/Yellow one maybe at that time.
I had a blue/yellow also but that one had very poor flow and was sent to another member on here to goo kit. I've only got the purple/yellow currently.
My century is going back...its junk.
I did. I'll just be patient. :)

@Rodrigo...Call it parental paranoia....if anything were to go wrong and I were to have a mess....I'd never hear the end of it. My mother is kind of afraid of these lamps, says they get too hot. Afraid one is going to explode, leak, cause a fire, etc. And that's w/ factory filled ones...if I modded one and something were to go wrong I'd probably end up having to get rid of ALL my lamps b/c she'd freak. I spun it off to her as "sending it back to have the fluids replaced". She thinks I sent it back to Lava World to be refurbed. I had a heck of a time convincing her that moving the bulb up a tiny bit on my other Grande was going to be ok...she still worries about it though. Made me take it off the timer, so I can't have it come in in the afternoon anymore to start heating up while I'm at work...consequently I only get to use it on the weekends now :(
.
Personally I would have loved to do it myself as I'm a tinkerer and have always wanted to open up a LL and tinker with it...but at this time I don't have anywhere to do so. Thought about doing it at a friends house but since its kind of time consuming I didn't want to impose on them either.
